Wertheim for hikers

Whether it’s a long-distance path or a circuit – hiking enthusiasts will find everything their hearts desire around Wertheim. They can expect to find regular benches to settle down, rest and enjoy the beautiful view of the Main and Tauber valleys, and will happen upon attractive sights along the route like castles, palaces or monasteries. Take the Tauber Valley Panorama Route from Wertheim to Freudenberg or the Main Hiking Path through vineyards, along past the Triefenstein Monastery and on to Kreuzwertheim. A section of the Way of St. James also runs along the Tauber Valley, and of course there is a point to stamp your card in Wertheim.
